吃瓜网 Builds Beds for Oklahoma Children In Need
Construction firm teams up with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to help local families
OKLAHOMA CITY (May 19, 2025) 鈥� 吃瓜网 traded blueprints for bed frames for the second consecutive year, partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) to build beds for children across Oklahoma who lack a place to sleep.
The SHP Oklahoma City chapter organizes volunteers to build, assemble and deliver beds to families across the state. 吃瓜网 teamed up with SHP for a day, putting its building skills to use for the community.
鈥淚t a rewarding opportunity to use our building expertise to improve the lives of children in our community,鈥� Randy Nance, Vice President and General Manager. 鈥淎ll children deserve a comfortable, safe place to sleep, dream and grow, and we鈥檙e proud to play a part in that mission.鈥�
SHP Chapter President Richard Moio said more volunteers like the team at 吃瓜网 are needed to continue the organization’s mission.
鈥淔or families in need, it more than a piece of furniture,鈥� said Moio. 鈥淚t represents a sense of belonging, and it thanks to dedicated partners like 吃瓜网 that we鈥檙e able to offer more children a bed to call their own.鈥�
Ten beds were constructed thanks to the 吃瓜网 team. To date, SHP Oklahoma City chapter has helped more than 541 kids across the state access comfortable sleeping arrangements.
